Dieppe Aims to Cut GHG Emissions by 50%

The City of Dieppe recently presented the results of its greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and set an emission reduction target of 50% by 2031.

Commemoration of the 82nd anniversary of the Dieppe Raid

DIEPPE, N.B.— The City of Dieppe in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Sunday, August 18, at Place 1604 to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the Dieppe Raid.

The annual event will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a military parade honouring the Canadian soldiers who died in the raid. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Dieppe Golden Age Club (445 Acadie Avenue).

Roadwork – Gabriel and Harold streets

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gabriel Street will be completely closed to traffic from Wednesday, August 7 to Friday, August 9. Harold Street, between Champlain Street and Gabriel Street, will also be closed during the same period.

Theses closures are necessary to allow for roadwork. Detour signs will be in place.

Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that lanes on Acadie Avenue will be reduced as of Tuesday, August 6, outside peak hours, between Marché and Alain-Gillette streets. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for the construction of a private development.

Once the work is completed, all four lanes of avenue Acadie will be open, but will be slightly less wide for a few months.
