Show your knowledge at the Great Dieppe Challenge

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wants you to test your knowledge at its annual rally on Sunday, July 28. This year's edition of the Challenge will take place in the morning and afternoon at Rotary St-Anselme Park.

Residents are invited to create teams of four players who will compete against each other in a search for clues. There will be challenges to overcome along the way in this race against the clock. Players will need to uncover clues to advance in the game.

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb

Dieppe Loves Block Parties!

DIEPPE, N.B. —  The City is inviting residents once again this year to take part in block parties to be held during the summer in municipal parks. Bouncy castles, BBQs and a host of activities for all ages will be available free of charge.

Block parties allow residents to meet new people and foster a sense of community.

The following parties are slated for the summer and will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.:

  • July 2: Dolbeau Park
  • July 16: Pélagie Park
  • July 30: Avant-Garde Park
  • August 13: Golf Park

DIEPPE, N.B. — Come one, come all! If you’re in the area on July 1, come spend Canada Day with us! A carnival of games and activities for the whole family awaits you at Place 1604. Take in the remarkable Art Richard, the fascinating members of La Patente and the astonishing Plywood Joe. And it’s all free!

This year’s Canada Day celebrations at Dieppe’s Place 1604 will have a carnival theme, featuring booths with prizes to be won in games that will test your skill and dexterity. All are welcome!

Micro-surfacing work throughout the municipality

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions and partial street closures on the following streets from June 25 to the end of July.

  • Gauvin Road (between du Collège Street and Bras d’Or Avenue)
  • Melanson Road (between Dieppe Boulevard and Rouse Street)

These changes to traffic patterns are necessary in order to allow for micro-surfacing work. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
